This year we celebrate our 5 year birthday as Cobblestone Gardens & Market.  Your neighborhood garden center is owned by Pat & Cathy Weiss, who also own Ground One Enterprises of MN, a landscape design and installation firm, www.groundonemn.com. 

GARDEN CENTER.  As a full service garden center, we carry annuals, tropical plants, perennials, evergreens, shrubs and ornamental trees.  Our annuals include a large variety of vegetable plants, including heirloom and organic varieties.  Whether you are looking for that perfect perennial or ideal shrub for your backyard, or are you looking to recreate your entire yard, our supply of perennials, trees and shrubs are different from most. Not only do we have a unique selection of plants, we have most things you would expect from a garden center such as, potting soil, mulch, fertilizers, seeds and garden accessories.Explore our cobblestone pathways where our displays of pottery, arbors, birdbaths and more, can inspire you to re-create themes in your outdoor living space.

GIFT ITEMS.  Our gift selection is unique and different from the rest.  If you are looking for a hostess gift, birthday present or just a little something for yourself, we have great items for the gardeners and non-gardeners in your life. Bulbs, plant stakes, and statuary are great for anyone, as is, our assortment of windchimes, gazing globes, and indoor planters.  Gift cards also make a great gift for that special someone in your life.

GREEN. We do our best for sustainable business practices.  Without water our plants wouldn’t survive, but we don’t add fertilizer to our irrigation or hand watering.  

We buy LOCAL whenever possible.  Many of the vendors who supply us with annuals, vegetable plants, perennials, shrubs and trees are within a 50 mile radius.  Of course palm trees, hibiscus, and other plants don’t grow here in Minnesota, so we do ship a variety of plants in from California, Florida, Oregon and elsewhere. 

REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE.  We try very hard to limit the impact we have on the environment.  Wherever we can, we reuse plastic trays, return them to our vendors so they can reuse them, or recycle them.  We also recycle the plastic pots you purchased from us or any other garden center, so feel free to drop them off throughout the season.  Unfortunately as of October 9th, the recycling of pots is done for the year.  Please hold onto your pots until next season when we will take them again.  

One on One Customer Attention

DESIGN.  Cobblestone has an MNLA certified staff that can help with any design or consultation. We help the do-it-yourself client who just needs little advice to achieve inspiration for their yard.We can also come to your property to assess your needs whether it be container design and planting or a small garden sketch or a complete design.
